Privacy Policy

• No account needed to start. You can browse recipes and track savings anonymously. An email is only needed if you want to sync across devices.
• We collect only what makes the app work — the recipes you save, your pantry, and the savings you track.
• Photos you scan (receipts, menus, drinks) are sent to our AI provider only to identify your order, then returned to you.
• We never sell your personal data, and we don't run third-party advertising trackers.

Information you give us. If you create an account, that's your email address. Inside the app, we store the things you choose to save — recipes, your pantry and gear, taste preferences, and the savings you log.

Photos you scan. When you snap a receipt, a menu, or a drink, that image is sent to our AI provider to recognize the order and build your recipe. It's used to answer your request and is not used to advertise to you.

Usage & device data. Like most apps, we collect basic diagnostics and anonymized product analytics — which features are used, crashes, device type and app version — so we can fix bugs and improve DupeBrew.

Purchases. DupeBrew Premium is billed by Apple or Google. They handle your payment; we never see your card number. We receive a subscription status (active, expired, trialing) so we can unlock premium features.

• Sync your data across your devices when you're signed in.
• Fix bugs, measure what's useful, and improve the app.
• Send you notifications you've asked for (you can turn these off any time).
• Keep DupeBrew secure and prevent abuse.

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run DupeBrew, and only so they can do their job:

• Supabase — secure hosting, database, and sign-in.
• OpenAI — powers Pip and reads the photos you scan to build recipes.
• RevenueCat — manages your subscription status.
• PostHog — privacy-friendly product analytics.
• OneSignal — delivers the notifications you opt into.
• Apple App Store & Google Play — process your payments.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and DupeBrew.

We keep your data for as long as you use DupeBrew. You're always in control:

• Delete individual recipes or pantry items right inside the app.
• Delete your whole account and its data from our Delete account page, or by emailing studiobysns@gmail.com — we'll remove it promptly.

If you never made an account, your data lives on your device and disappears when you delete the app.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. Just email studiobysns@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.

You can turn off push notifications in your device settings, and use most of DupeBrew without ever creating an account.

We use encryption in transit, trusted infrastructure providers, and sensible access controls to protect your data. No app can promise perfect security, but we work hard to keep your information safe and to only hold what we actually need.

DupeBrew is made for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we'll delete it.

We may update this policy as DupeBrew grows. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
